5 podcasts which made me (and may make you) a better person

1) Philosophize this!

This podcast sparked my interest for philosophy. Stephen West, the host, breaks down philosophers and thought schools in an engaging, easy-to-digest way. I recommend it to anyone wanting to get into philosophy.

2) The Copywriter’s Club

As the name suggests, this laid-back podcast interviews copywriters. My key takeaway is few copywriters originally intended to become such. I derive most value from episodes with niche copywriters since they can get into detail.

3) Huberman Lab

Listening to this podcast changed my life more than any other. Andrew D. Huberman is a Stanford professor of neurobiology. In his podcast, Huberman explains the underlying mechanisms of different processes in the body, then provides you with actionable advice and tools to optimize your body for well-being.

4) The Tim Ferriss Show

Tim Ferriss is an American investor, entrepreneur and author of 4-Hour workweek. In his podcast, he interviews the world’s top performers. With 500+ episodes ranging from Jerry Seinfeld to Sam Harris, you’ll surely find one which interests you.

5) FT News Briefing

Radio news can be quite boring and un-engaging. Not so with this 10 minute news briefing. The reason I listen to the FT News Briefing every morning is the producer and host Marc Filippino. While remaining professional, Marc is a nice guy and it shows that his colleagues enjoy to talk with him. Listening to him is like having a friend calling you to tell you the recent news.
